Special-Prayer.com is a community of people that have come together for a common goal; To share their praises and pains with the Lord. This site has developed into an active community of believers that come each day to lift each other up when they are down and to bask in the glory of praise when they are up. We welcome you with open arms and pray you enjoy your time with us.

Define: Prayer, (noun),  The act of communicating with God.

Why should we Pray?

Many times prayer seems like a chore that we “must complete” to be in God’s good graces. However, prayer is not supposed to be a chore or something we have to do, prayer is a gift from God.

God teaches us to “Rejoice always; to Pray without Ceasing“  (1 Thessalonians 5:16-17)

Those to lines alone should be enough evidence to teach us to pray. God wants us to bring our problems and lay them at his feet and to bring our joys to the front every day. Can you imagine how much better your life would be if we all truly followed those two scriptures?

God tells us to: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Matthew 11:28-30

God instructs us to “Pray without Ceasing” because he wants to be a part of our life. God doesn’t want you to come to him because your supposed to on Sunday morning, he is your friend.
